The Unicoi State Park Archery & Air Gun Range is a shooting facility that is set up for static archery target practice, 3-D archery target practice and air gun rifle target practice. All three areas of the range are considered ADA Accessible with wide concrete walkways and platforms available for use.
This range operates on a first come, first serve basis unless participating in an instructional class available for sign up at the lodge. All range users are expected to follow the posted range rules and respect other users within the facility.
A large portion of Wildlife Restoration funds go back into shooting projects and programs. Our Georgia DNR ranges, such as the one we have here, benefit tremendously from range patrons.
Daily range usage pricing is $5 per person
Annual passes are available at the lodge for $50 per person
The Static Archery Range consists of five lanes of varying distances. The static archery range is considered ADA accessible with concrete walkways that stretch the length of each lane for easy arrow retrieval.
The 3-D Archery Range consists of multiple 3-D targets of varying sizes and shapes, a tower, and a concrete slab for shooting. We invite you to try your hand at shooting prehistoric beasts, as well as typical hunting game.
The Air Gun Range hosts ten lanes with target cables that are ready to hold your target papers as you take aim from under the covered range patio. This is the only range designated for the use of air rifles and the use of any other form of firearm or weapon is prohibited.
