Visitors to Unicoi State Park and Lodge have always enjoyed the expansiveness of the wilderness surrounding the Georgia state parks, from our hiking/biking trails and the ever-popular Unicoi Lake. Fishermen have always known that our cool mountain streams are a haven for large quantities of bream and mountain trout. Now, our Georgia adventure activities are even more abundant at Unicoi State Park and Lodge. Learn to paddleboard on Unicoi Lake, try your hand at 3-D archery or take a level one fly fishing class. We have all the great fun you expect from Unicoi State Park and Lodge and so much more.

The Unicoi State Park Archery & Air Gun Range is a shooting facility that is set up for static archery target practice, 3-D archery target practice and air gun rifle target practice. Archery classes are available for $25 per person and include an hour and a half worth of beginner instruction, equipment included. Air gun classes are available for $25 and include 45 minutes of beginner instruction, equipment included. All three areas of the range are considered ADA Accessible.

Use our GPS devices to hunt for coordinates and clues on our 3 mile scavenger hunt. Have fun and brush up on your navigational skills at the same time!
See Unicoi Lake from a whole new perspective! Paddle boards are available for rent for $15 daily during our summer Beach hours.
Bring your mountain bike and experience our Mountain Bike Trail near Smith Creek. Our trail was designed for the Olympics and is considered high difficulty. The park does not rent Mountain Bikes, guests & visitors must bring their own.

Learn the basics of fly fishing on Smith Creek, like reel setup and casting techniques, during our level 1 fly fishing class. This class is perfect for both young and old beginners, with on-land and occasionally water-based practice.
Want to know more about the flora and fauna that inhabit Unicoi State Park? Take a walk with one of our park naturalists on one of our beautiful trails and learn all about the many different species of plants and animals that call Unicoi home. This activity is perfect for ages 5 to 95 and ranges from 1 hour to 2 hours.
Zip through the canopy with our canopy rangers. The adventure is amazing for both beginner and experienced thrill seekers. The adventure allows you to experience views of the lake and wildlife from a whole new vantage point. Level 1 includes 11 lines and 7 bridges, and Level 2 includes 8 more lines and 5 more bridges, as well as the half-mile line across Unicoi Lake.
Record it all with a GoPro Hero 4 so you can share your time at Unicoi with your friends and loved ones. GoPro’s are compatible with zipline helmets. Must return device to Adventure Store by 5pm. Memory card sold separately.
