May Homeschool Day topic: Stream Ecology
Calling all homeschool students! Unicoi offers a unique learning experience for all ages.
Homeschool Day is hosted the First Friday of every month.
May’s lesson will focus on the stream ecology of Unicoi’s Smith Creek and the macro invertebrates that inhabit it. Students will be able get in the creek with nets and catch and observe the invertebrates.
Cost is $5 per student.
Activities will take place at the Bottoms area, where Smith Creek is located.

- Slack lining
- Night Hike

Program fees vary based on program desired, amount of materials needed, length of program and number of participants.
